Enigma Brass Ensemble are a group of orchestral brass musicians based in the Sutton Coldfield area of Birmingham.
Enigma Brass Ensemble is versatile and although we mainly appear in the 10 piece format made popular by the Philip Jones Brass Ensemble and subsequently London Brass, we regularly perform as a symphonic brass ensemble with as many players as the programme dictates.
We perform for many different organisations throughout the year, either on our own in a traditional recital setting or as part of a concert with other performers or at private functions.
We always perform three concerts per year at Wylde Green United Reformed Church, the details of which can be found on the events page.
Enigma Brass Ensemble has a vast and varied repertoire across a wide selection of musical periods and styles, ranging from baroque to classical, jazz and swing to film and television, and not forgetting the traditional classics at Christmas.
